This policy explains how Oz Road Trips collects, uses and protects your personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Information you give us. If you subscribe to updates or use our contact form, we collect your email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
• Usage information. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical data - such as your device type, browser, approximate location, pages viewed and how you arrived - through analytics tools and server logs.
• Affiliate clicks. When you click an outbound partner link, we record that the click happened (via our /go/ redirect and campaign tags) so we can measure referrals. We do not see what you go on to book.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to understand how the site is used and to improve it. When you click through to a partner, that partner may set its own cookies to attribute the referral - those are governed by the partner's own privacy policy. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings.

How we use your information

We use it to operate and improve the site, respond to your enquiries, send you updates if you've opted in, measure affiliate referrals, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
